mieke's is a Netherlands based fashion brand where all of the products are handmade by me, mieke.
I love to sew, knit and crochet and share my designs with everyone who loves to craft!
how it started
As a little girl I loved nothing more than crafting! Back then drawing and painting were my favourite activities. My oma (dutch for granny) used to make children's clothes for me and I have fond memories of designing dresses together and her teaching me how to thread the machine. My mum taught me how to knit when I was little, and in my teens I made a skirt or two on my sewing machine.

During my studies I kind of lost touch with my creativity and it wasn't until a random wednesday in march 2022 that I decided to give crochet a chance... and I was immediately hooked! Since then, I started making bags for friends & family and I haven't been able to stop.
learned from the best
In December 2023 my mum re-taught me how to knit and in spring 2024 I made my first leather bag together with my talented mum. It is so fun and special to be able to create & learn so much from my mum!! Last summer I showed my mum my design of the scrunchie bag, that we brought to reality together. Ever since, I've been fully booked and able to chase my dream!
